The kitchen cabinetry has been set. The counter tops and bar top fabricator is scheduled to arrive on Monday to make templates. The tops will be a new product called Vetrostone. The mason who invented the process is the best marble fabricator in this area. He uses local oyster and whelk shells in epoxy slurry to create a terrazzo-like surface that is beautiful and unique (take a look): http://www.vetrostone.com/seacrest.htm The carpentry crew framed in the boardwalk to the beach access stairs this week. It will be nice to be able to get to the beach from the house – I have been holding off on this in order to keep the house separated and all the guys working. The floor finisher began work on the oak today. He will continue over the weekend and hopefully be complete next week. Afterwards, it is on to the finish with painters, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing all setting out, then lighting control, theater room equipment, garage doors, elevator, etc., etc., etc. I am shooting for C/O in three weeks (silly of me to say, but I don’t mind being wrong). All the subs are on notice. Finally had a little rain today – otherwise the weather has been perfect.
