Been a little discouraging the past two weeks. The interior trim crew has not worked out and I had to replace them. Their work was good but progress was too slow and they did have the number of carpenter they initially presented. Typical, but frustrating as one tends to hang on too long and allow for the excuses. A new crew started yesterday and so far, so good, but there was a little lost time.
We added hardwood flooring in the bunk room and theatre room - initially planed as carpeted rooms. The only carpet in the house now is going to be the two upstairs bedrooms.
Bids are in for the exterior driveway and brick pavers. That work will begin in a week. Next week will be tile shopping as well.
The weather here has been great – 80’s for the past two days. Fripp has seen a dramatic increase in visitors over the spring break – lots of slow moving golf carts. They are paving Tarpon Boulevard after the recent sewer line installation. Hopefully that will all be completed in a couple of weeks.
